Rocket: All Aboard will be working with the Friends of Eccles Station (FRECCLES) and Humbug Arts to deliver a cross-generational art project celebrating the rich railway heritage of the local area.

Bringing together participants from the Castle Community Centre in Eccles, Steam and Stories will create opportunities for people of different ages to connect and explore the history that surrounds them.

Through creative workshops and collaborative making, participants will develop a striking artwork inspired by the symbolism of the railway including its engines, tracks, and infrastructure, alongside the industrial history and enduring legacy of the historic line, reflecting Eccles’ place within a wider story of innovation and travel.
