The Liverpool to Manchester Community Rail Partnership is inviting members, partners, volunteers and people from communities along the Liverpool to Manchester railway to attend its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Venue: Eccles Community Hall, Church Street, Eccles, Manchester, M30 0LH

The meeting will take place at Eccles Community Hall, a welcoming community venue in the heart of Eccles. More information about the venue can be found here: www.ecclestownhall.org

The AGM is open to everyone, whether you are already involved with the Community Rail Partnership or would simply like to find out more about our work, meet local partners and discover how you can get involved in projects along the Liverpool to Manchester railway corridor.

Executive Committee Elections

One of the key items of business at this year’s AGM will be the election of the Partnership’s Executive Committee Officers.

The following voluntary positions are open for election:

  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

These volunteer roles provide an opportunity to help shape the future direction of the Liverpool to Manchester Community Rail Partnership and support the continued development of community rail across the route.

Anyone interested in standing for one of these positions is encouraged to read the relevant role description and nomination instructions linked below before submitting a nomination. Deadline for submission is the 2nd September 2026

Nomination Forms

Anyone who is passionate about supporting communities, sustainable transport and the Liverpool to Manchester railway is encouraged to consider standing for one of these important roles.

Refreshments will be available before and after the meeting, providing an opportunity to meet fellow members and partners and continue the conversation in an informal setting.
