A new community-created artwork celebrating the heritage and stories of Edge Hill Station will be unveiled on Saturday 26 September at 2pm.
The window mural has been created by the Friends of Edge Hill Station, a new group that has been meeting at Metal since June to explore the heritage of the station and the wider railways, while sharing stories and conversations about community, connection and travel.
Supported by artist Mark Brogan, photographer Emma Case and BSL practitioner Lucy Cossins, the group has brought these ideas and experiences together to create a playful new artwork for the station.
The project has been co-commissioned by Rocket: All Aboard and Metal Cultureand funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, thanks to National Lottery players, with support from Vinyline and Northern Trains.

Everyone is invited to join the Friends group and Metal for the unveiling and celebrate the new artwork.
